Random messages from Duo interrupting lessons

Today I started seeing a random messages like "Your progress is paying off", "you are at 10 in a row" etc. Is there a way to disable these? They don't seem to add any value to the learning experience.

On mobile, you can go into settings and disable motivational messages. Not sure if you can on the web version.

No, there isn’t. It just says that you can switch them off on the Android app, which is useless for website or IOS users. Oh, and there’s a link to the Coach, which doesn’t help either, unfortunately.

I opened a thread on this problem a few days ago: https://forum.duolingo.com/comment/33040003 in which I show that this is a 2 years old bug. Voting on my thread could increase the visibility of this issue.
