Dictionary wrong way.

Did someone else notice that the sentences in the Duolingo dictionary are the wrong way round? Or perhaps the right way, if you're western European like me, but not what's needed in Arabic.

Instead of right to left, the word order is left to right, but the letter order is still right to left. This is so incredibly confusing. Duo37 Duo 40 Duo17 Duo 28 Duo36

You are supposed to read Arabic from right to left in Arabic, and English left to right in Arabic. Perhaps it is trying to get people used to swapping the reading direction when they change language. I can see the confusion

Yes! I have noticed that, but I'm pretty sure that it is the rule that says if you are using an adjective you put it after the word you are describing. For example instead of "The new house" it would be "The house new". Hope that helps it is sorta hard to explain.
