Suggested improvement for the alphabet introduction pages
First of all, thanks for having these pages. Without them, learning the letters would be very difficult. However, when you make the tables that show how a letter looks depending on its position in a word, it'd be really helpful if you gave the letter in question a different colour, so that we can see where that particular letter starts and ends.
I have been practicing typing a lot and learning how the letters change is very important.
What is helping me is to use a split pane. I put my duolingo notes on right and a word processor on left. Then I start at the top of notes and just practice typing from the top.
As we get in to sentences I started to put them in my notes and pull the sentences apart to separate the individual letters and diacritics, first is english translation, second normal arabic, third arabic deconstructed. like this:
She is a French doctor from Paris.
. هِيَّ دُكْتورة فَرَنْسِيّة مِن باريس
(ه ِي ّ َ د ُك ْ ت و ر ة ف َ ر َن ْ س ِي ّ ة م ِن ب ا ر ي س)
then I can go through and slowly figure out how to recognize and handwrite the words
