Translation:Il cibo è sempre buono.
could you not translate this as: il cibo è sempre bravo? Or is bravo only used for people
My understanding of "bravo" is more as you say, to do with people, their personal qualities, their good attributes: skillful, clever, capable, of good character etc. Thank you for crystallising in my mind how I thought about this! In the final analysis then I would avoid using "bravo" in this context.
