365 day streak!
Just got my first 365 day streak! It's duolingo day for me! I started a couple of years back, although lost the odd streaks here and there, but I finally managed a whole year of duo! Getting better at reading the language (Spanish) but have had less practice speaking it, so that's the next goal :) Lets see what I'll learn this year! Cheers Duo!
because he is an anonymous, he is already almost God (he would know even how to code an all)
wildfire is a challenge where you-at the last stage- have to get a 30 day streak.
unfortunate to lose many streaks, make sure you keep hold of that streak. To help you I am going to give some more lingots in your bank in case you ever need a streak freeze. I gave you 10 lingots
How many lingots do you have I have 200 and I basically spent everything way more than enough I know 99% of people have more
Well done, good work. I also work to have 365 days :)
For 7 months I love to learn languages.
I love duolingo.
Congratulations! I'm coming up on my 365 day streak as well. Happy one year of Duo!
WOW! I just started learning Danish this week, I hope to one day achieve that goal too! here's a lingot to celebrate!
Congrats! It’s not easy to do :).
Hope to have my own one day if we can ever get through hurricane season without a power outage, xD.
Great going dioxip. Just one thing, where do you intend to practice speaking? I feel like I'm getting the hang of writing and reading Spanish a little bit, but I definitely can't hold a conversation. Particularly because any time I hear anything in Spanish, I first need to translate it in my head word by word. I think the only way to become proficient in a language is if you communicate with other people on a regular basis in that language. On that front, I'm going to try and attend the meetups that keep happening in my city on a regular basis.
Thanks! Yes there some local meet up groups to practice which I want to give a try, and as mentioned above by derek2181, an app called tandem. Also the duolingo stories have more conversational examples that can be useful for listening then repeating what you hear.
WOW great!! Congrats!! I hope you'll enjoy many more years here lol... I love Duolingo!!
I recommend you downloading Tandem, it's a very good app. you learn your target language and you teach your mother tongue in return to other people. Duolingo is quite good for learning the language and tandem helps you with real conversations
that is great for you.. congratulations. eso es fantastico para ti...felicitaciones.
Por que no escribes en espanol? Es importnate para ti que lee, habla y escribe en espanol, o no?
AlaaAlemary el escribe en espanol hay personas poco leen el mensaje (lo siento mi espanol no es muy bien no hablo espanol)
This is the whole point. Learning is about persistence. Your ability and preparedness to try and never to give up.
What I meant was that if she wrote Spanish it wouldn’t attract as many people as in English this message is more about a milestone and achievement and the person wants to showcase that dioxip can practice Spanish in another message with a reasonable topic
No prob. instigating people to do things right is of great value no matter the audience! Actually if the message was in Spanish the effect would have been higher. All the best..
