Does the pronunciation of مُحاسِبة sound like "moHaltiiba" to anybody else?

Why do we add the "ii" sound to Um (Mother) to make Umii (My mother) Why not have 2 different words?

This is Arabic.
This is called agglutination (putting suffixes to change the meaning). Some languages are heavily agglutinated like Turkish, while some are partly agglutinated like Arabic. Arabic is not an Indo-European language, so it doesn't work that way.
