Top of "kaaf" cut off?

On laptop, the top piece of letter "kaaf" always seems to be cut off. It looks like "laam." In other words, K sounds look like L sounds. ?

Can you capture an image/take an image of the problem? Maybe the font it so small and letters don't show properly?

Here is an example.

the font looks like the variety used to type in Urdu. Maybe if you can change the font type the problem would be resolved, maybe?

Yes, it's Nastaliq. I didn't notice it because I know Urdu and Punjabi, and it just looks "normal" to me... I guess I'll have to figure out why my computer is set to display Arabic script that way, and how to change it... And people talking about Persian, Urdu, and Punjabi courses being made (with Arabic script) will need to note that the words might not fit in the standard-size Duo boxes.

Yes, these languages use Arabic script but they have more letters for sounds not available in Arabic. For this reason maybe sometimes the "mapping" of characters would be different.
Anyway, if you are on a computer, or a laptop, check the options in your browser where you can pick up the type of font for the specific language. In Firefox it can be found in: Tools>Options>General tab>Font and Colors section>Click on Advanced button>In the list check Arabic and see what you can do there (you can control the size as well). I think it is also better to check the box that says [Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above].

Good Luck!
