Translation:Entrò dalla finestra.
Another correct answer to this is given to be "Lui entrò per la finestra." I put "Lui entrò attraverso la finestra" and it told me not to confuse "per" with "attraverso." I would like not to confuse this if anyone can help please? I just can't see the difference.
Actually "entrare per la finestra" seems literary and uncommon; "entrare attraverso la finestra" is much better. Interestingly, typing "entrare per la finestra" on google gives mostly hits from an Argentinian band's song. "Per" as "through" works best with "passare", i.e. to pass through the window.
