Crown Levels

Would it not be more helpful to include crown levels in our profiles, rather than experience points? It would certainly make more sense to me.

The "Educators" forum is the wrong forum for this: https://forum.duolingo.com/comment/32499554

There is FieryCat's Tampermonkey userscript "DuoProfile" which exactly allows you to see those informations (on the web).

Have to re-test the newest version as it has been recently updated because of multiple web code changes by staff; I had disabled it for some months because it was not working anymore (latest UI web update with the the mobile app top menu bar and profile page restructuring.

I am sorry David, I think I confused it a little bit.

With the help of "DuoProfile" I see a user's:

  • streak number
  • streak freeze equipped and when or not
  • lingots

but not the crowns as you have requested it, as this is tree related / language specific.

Each tree has its different skill / crowns count because of different L1 source - L2 target language pairs.

The new CEFR A2 Spanish / French trees are much longer from the base language English than earlier trees.
Same applies to (CEFR) reverse trees English from PT / ES.

And new A/B trees like Japanese 2.0 also has a different skill count because of new Kanji symbols.

However, you can take a look on a user's Duome page which includes the information about crowns:
