This sentence is ambiguous. I understood Sam to be the name of the son, but it turns out it's the name of the person we're speaking to, so it was wrong.

Ibnak when speaking to a male. Sam is male.

Actually, it should be "ibnuk" or "ibnuka".

This is the standard one, and closer to its original.

But, some members say that "ibnak" is from specific Arabic dialects.
