Polish Shows, Movies and Podcasts etc.

I have been learning Polish for a few months now and I was wondering if anyone knows any good Polish shows or movies that I can listen to for Practice.

Dziękuję :)

What kind of movies would you be interested in: action, comedy, drama, musical? I'll have a look, however when it comes to newer movies, they're not really shared that much and few of them are good, so I can make no promises that it'll be quality content, but I'll see what I can do.

I would suggest listening to a series of short (2÷6 min.) radio auditions by prof. Katarzyna Kłosińska - she answers various questions about the nuances of Polish language: https://www.polskieradio.pl/Katarzyna-Klosinska/Tag165863 .

When it comes to movies, this can be difficult: some of the all time favourites are either political and/or reference things that could be difficult to understand for foreign viewers. Shypharagy linked some of those great movies, including Miś and Rejs. When it comes to newer movies, I would recommend "Bogowie" and "Zimna wojna", but keep in mind that they are both on the more serious side.

If you're looking for something more easily approachable, your best bet is probably one of the new crime drama series, as there have been several new productions with this kind of modern look. Check out:

Kruk. Szepty słychać po zmroku https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8174330/

Ślepnąc od świateł https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6520930/

Wataha https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4048942/

Another thing I would recommend is the series "Legendy Polskie" on Youtube. It's a series of short films that are reimagined old polish legends and tales, so instead of medieval or ancient times, they are this science fiction set in the future. I reckon you will enjoy them even if you don't know what they're based on.

You can also search for some music, although I won't give any recommendations since I don't know what you listen to. Music is nice because you can put it on anytime, so you're still familiarizing yourself with the language even if you're not "actively" studying.

Maybre try something from TED in Polish (some of the lectures are available with subtitles: https://www.youtube.co/results?search_query=ted+po+polsku).

When it comes to films, I recommend Polanski's first and one of the best films "Nóż w wodzie"/"Knife in the water"/ "Le couteau dans l'eau".
