Ladrone o Ladroni?

While I was reading an italian comic - I found this sentence : ((Solo quel tanto che basta per mandare al diavolo qualche ladrone!))

the use of ((ladrone)) here - is it correct - or - they would have used ((ladroni))???

Qualche must be followed by a singular noun. So, ladrone is correct.

Native Italian speaker here. ”Ladrone” is correct. Unlike English (and Arabic), you must use singular nouns after “qualche”, e.g. ”qualche soldo” (some money), “qualche amico” (some friends), ”qualche giorno” (some days), ”qualche volta” (sometimes), etc.
