Awesome guide! Best yet! Bookmarked! By the way, his username is pronounced "deh-LUG-gle." It would rhyme with the struggle. ;) Are you good with that, dlhgl?

It should be noted for newcomers (I once was one! ;-)) That the 2nd line for tables with the colons :--- (left aligned) or :---: (centered) and ---: (right aligned) are the codes used to change or alter alignment for that column. Intuitive, once known!

|right aligned|centered|left aligned|

|---:|:---:|:---| <=Note position of colons (:)

|1 a|1 b|1 c|

|2 a|2 b|2 c|

right aligned centered left aligned
1 a 1 b 1 c
2 a 2 b 2 c

|what ever|labels|you want|

|:---:|:---:|:---:| <=Note: For all centered!

|1 a|1 b|1 c|

|2 a|2 b|2 c|

what ever labels you want
1 a 1 b 1 c
2 a 2 b 2 c
odd and different lengths

PS: Could you add last, a section to include the code to suppress acting on the codes? ;-)

Thank you for pointing this out and for the detailed explanation! This will make it easier for newcomers to understand how tables are created. I added a link to your post.

Acting on the codes can be suppressed by adding a backslash '\' before the relevant characters. I added a few examples to show how it works. As for the tables: just add a backslash at the beginning of each line.

Thanks a lot!
This is great!
Every line in this comment has two spaces at the end and I like it!
