I never heart of anyone "playing ball". Is that a specific game in Indonesian?
Usually it means that they're playing soccer.
Main sepak bola would be more useful, with football as an option.
"Playing ball" used to be a common phrase, at least in American English. Could refer to any ball sport (baseball, basketball, soccer, etc.)
I lost two lives on this. Why must it be the field and not a field. Wheres the nya. FML
So "bermain" is an exception in case that it is transitive?
wouldn't "the field" be "lapangannya", and lapangan be "a field"? Am I missing something here? lapangannya was rejected. Would love to hear from Duolingo one of these days, do they not read these comments?
