Collecting resources for one who wants to learn the language
With the following links I try to give some possibilities for learning Arabic. There should be available a bit for any kind of mood in which you are and the way in which you prefer to learn a language. In case the speed is a bit too fast just reduce it on Youtube. This might be a big help.
On the page from “My Arabic Journey“ you will find a lot of more proposals which are mostly in MSA or Fusha. The one I wrote down are the one which I found or my language partners suggested to me. If you look at the channels with the normal videos these my friends showed to me as I got a bit bored with only watching videos for learners of Arabic but wanted still to get used to the sound oft he language.
I want to apology in advance for spelling mistakes or a bad grammar. But English is not my mother tongue.
1) Channels on Youtube with mixed contents:
ArabicWithNadia https://www.youtube.com/user/nadiahselim/videos - Here you will find for e.g. videos with very easy sentences, dialoges and so on with Arabic and English subtitles.
LearnArabicWithFun https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2-JrteHvL3R18IhtzkGCvg/videos - Here you will find a lot of small videos with Arabic and English subtitles very slow spoken. This is well prepared for beginners who still struggle with the way of emphazising the words. You will get a lot of repetitions for each word or sentence. - Then there is also a short story well prepared for very beginners where you can learn to read without any vowel signs.
Hidaya Center https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFQRnNW7LxjMLHmfFvkTcaQ - Short videos in three topics. Just got told that this is without dialect and made in Egypt.
2) Channels for watching and listening to Arabic for getting used to the language while doing sth else. These are videos without subtitles but funny to watch.
تلفاز١١ https://www.youtube.com/user/telfaz11/videos - This is a channel with small funny videos from the KSA. Here are no subtitles but nice for listening to Arabic and get used to the language while doing sth else. And sure this is with dialect.
خليجية https://www.youtube.com/user/khalejiatv/playlists - This is also a channel from the KSA with a lot of different things like social talks, sport and so on. And there are some oft the Arabic-Golf series too. One of those funny series is this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DZUxKwZvbw&list=PLp8t9oGfE4VDq1bqUIxjOTckAZs4aRGEt
احمد شريف Ahmed Sharif https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCb8gcYU5iCexwnvQlP1P2CA/videos - Here you will find comedy too.
3) Movies / Videos:
Arabic blooms https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFJATd868iI&list=PL7RpCYE5gLKF3Wus9QmIXHuy4p81lpaVA - Here you will find short stories with Arabic and English subtitles.
Teach Children Arabic - Easy and Fun! https://www.youtube.com/user/SyrajArabicBooks/videos - Here you will find short videos with Arabic and English subtitles. But the speed is a bit faster.
Arabic Fairy Tales https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCazFScO30FKY3YoNNDfNY5g/videos
TRANSLATING ARABIC CARTOONS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1B__grIceU&list=PLB1es-4QvwS3oG1kuVNUD0_h6aNc6QAu1 - A nice way of explaining Arabic with funny cartoons.
Muhammed Misbah https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCY5CKGdyO5bESH_o9JIe5Kg/videos - Small videos, very well prepared with even teaching words.
bookboxinc https://www.youtube.com/user/bookboxinc/playlists - Here you will find 6 stories in Arabic with subtitles. But besides this many stories in a wide range of languages too.
فالح القضاع https://www.youtube.com/user/alaakhar/playlists - In case you love poems, here you find some with the text/lyrics and an amazing sound. I love this voice.
ATA Animation Studio https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIDUMksgo7FO2ZujxTcpGLQ/playlists - Videos very slow spoken and with English subtitles and no dialect besides the music. The music is Egyptian dialect. - But please pay attention, all of these are religious videos.
4) Here three movies /series, but without subtiltes. They are spoken in a very good Arabic. The last one is with a lot of humour. A very smart man acts like an ill minded one so he can say what he thinks and nobody will harm him for critizising the system.
5) Courses on Youtube:
Arabic with John https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbruhBtwV5lyhvfSA9pTrR4WXLj9H_NwW - Very good course for learning the grammar. - This course is still very short but hopefully we will get more soon.
quranicarabicwebinar https://www.youtube.com/user/quranicarabicwebinar/playlists - Here you will find very helpful videos for learning to read and pronounse the letters and using all oft he vowels signs and their meaning.
Imran Alawiye https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEmWUZanVYXEzZXYDHzD-iA/playlists - It is from the Gateway to Arabic Institute. - If you start to learn the letters and to read with him then you can be pretty sure you will be able to read. He is teaching Arabic very slow and writing down most of he stuff. After this you only need someone who will correct your pronunciation and to get practice.
Learn Arabic With English Translation https://www.youtube.com/user/LearnArabicEnglish/videos - Well prepared videos and not only for the very beginners. But unfortunately the quality oft he sound is very low.
Arabic With Amina https://www.youtube.com/user/ArabicWithAmina/videos - Here you will also learn to create your first sentences on your own.
Madina Course https://www.youtube.com/user/xgond53391/playlists - Here you will find the whole Madina Course. But actually you can download everything for free from their website. There are also mp3 files in Arabic to English available.
6) These I have found on Facebook:
My Arabic Journey with Mohamed Facebook: @myarabicjourney Telegram: My Arabic Journey with Mohammed (Here with all pronunciations included.) Wordpress // Instagram // Twitter // Pinterest - Here you will find very well prepared material for very beginners. And he is also providing a list of links where you can find material for learning Arabic.

B) Yesterday my friend remembered me at this funny series it is called طاش ما طاش Mature men acting here like kids. This is an old serious from the KSA // https://youtu.be/1At7FExBXPw
C) An Egyption series, but without subtitles. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8Xnw1MuMyUPMgoAgAG7TOw/videos
Wonderful list of resources! I look forward to checking them out :)
Also if I can add another one I have been using "Learn Arabic With Maha" which is a great introduction for beginners, focusing on pronunciation and unique phrases in the Palestinian dialect https://www.youtube.com/user/LearnArabicwithMaha
Sure, everyone is welcomed to add some resources.
Btw, I am happy that you are also telling that Maha is mainly teaching dialect. Actually, last summer I have started with her but then changed to poems because of the dialect. I really wanted to do my first steps with MSA or Fusha. And at that time I did not know sth better than poems.
Thanks for your help.
