"Makemake ʻo ia."

Translation:He likes (it).

She wants some. How do you know when it's "(it)" and when it's "(some)" Still feels interchangeable.

Is there something in the notes about how to differentiate between "want" and "like" using the word "makamake"?

I'm using the app on my phone, so I can't see links to the notes. Would appreciate it if somebody could post a link. Thanks in advance!
