On the "house" hints there were 4 words - I chose the bottom one but was told it was wrong. Why?
Duolingo usually puts the right-est answer on top in any language hints. Some languages use different words for some occasions. (Like the right feminine/masculine "the", for example.)
Thanks for that - but why did they put a wrong answer there in the first place?
To let you know of the other translations. After learning the same translation, to suddenly have a sentence with that word but in a different meaning could bring an existential crisis to some (exaggerated but you get the point ;))
Ohhh, like house, home, chalet, villa etc. I get it. I still feel miffed that their own given answer is "wrong". Thanks for this.
