Klingon keyboard?

I went looking in the play store yesterday for a Klingon keyboard. Something with all of the letters already capitalized, or not, as needed, with the combo letters already together and the such. I didn't have any luck. Does anyone know of such a keyboard?

What operating system do you want it for?

I'm using an Android phone, mostly. Sometimes Win10 laptop.

I'm not sure about Win10, but for Android, if you download the AnySoftKeyboard and then add the quja' extension (both available in the Play Store), you can get a keyboard which already has the letters in the correct capitalization and the multigraphs on single keys. It also includes some options for pIqaD.

quja' and pIqaD look like they might be Klingon, but I don't know those words.

Can you help me out?

You seem to have figured it out, but in case someone else comes to this forum and wonders... pIqaD is the Klingon characters that are used to write Klingon instead of the Roman letters that Duolingo and most of the instructional materials use. quja' is the name of the Keyboard layout used when the quja' extension for AnySoftKeyboard is used, it has no other meaning in tlhIngan Hol that we know of. You can find it by searching for quja' in the play store, but it won't do anything unless you have AnySoftKeyboard installed and restart your device.

It's called quja' for the same reason a qwerty keyboard is called qwerty: it's the letters along the top row. Whether the designer decided on the name quja' and then laid out a keyboard accordingly or that name just came about by chance, I don't know.

I saw AnySoftKeyboard, but I didn't see the extension for Klingon. I'm going to have to go back and get it.

Thank you!

Okay, I hope that I'm not just complaining now, but on this keyboard the uppercase i looks just like the lower case L. Is this something that I can fix, like changing a font or something?

I'm not seeing a way to attach a screenshot, sorry.

Go into AnySoftKeyboard, choose the globe icon at the bottom, choose Enable Keyboards and Languages. Choose quja' Roman covers. When you use the keyboard, switch to quja' roman covers to see a serif font.
