How to find forum pages that don’t show in search (Tip)

Hi, so I use the iOS Duolingo app, which doesn’t allow commenting and such on the forum pages (which even then what the app shows is very limited), so finding the discussion pages for prompts has always been difficult. A lot of them don’t appear in the search frustratingly, and only a few then will show on Google.

But then I discovered the trick. If you can’t find the sentence in the Duolingo Forum search, try typing in the Google search “duolingo forum” and then type the name of the sentence/title of the post in quotation marks. Then press enter.

The quotation marks will make Google search for the exact phrase, and so if you typed the sentence correctly, 90% of the time the page you’re looking for should show up.

Finding pages has been a hassle for a while since I use the forum very often. This trick has made it so much easier, and I hope if anyone else is having this same problem, it will help them.

I have a theory. It may have been to transfer lingots from an old account to a new one. Only speculation though.

Edit: But now that I see the lingot spam around here, there are numbers more exciting than 12.
