Most of my crown levels are missing now
So, I got on to duolingo today and noticed most of my lessons no longer have their crowns, implying I did not level them... Why? Duolingo said they didn't have plans for this on the support in regard to crown decay. Edit: I do not wish to redo all those lessons, since I am setting myself a time limit as a goal to do the tree. Edit 2: The blue dots next to lessons don't seem to have new content either so if some people wanna claim "oh it's more content", I don't see it.
It's the new Esperanto tree. Of you go to the Esperanto forum, there is a discussion about it.
Why did someone downvote without explaining? I checked the forums and my situation is valid and imo doesn't overlap with the recent announcement features.
Because there are a small group of losers on here who apparently have nothing better to do with their time than downvote EVERYTHING, try not to take it personally.
Also would like to note, I tried to learn about updates that happened but nothing was explained to me, this is all very discouraging.
It's really discouraging, I was hoping to do the tree by the end of the month but I looked on the support site and nothing helped, it's all outdated stuff. I'm really close to quitting duolingo after an unbroken 135 streak.
Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. But I'm wondering did this happen to all of your trees or only one of them? Also, what are the blue dots next to the lessons?
Yes everything I had done is gone. I can't be bothered starting all over again. I had done 3 levels of Italian, one of German, and some of the others. Also all my achievements and long streak of days are gone.
Yesterday I was doing my Italian Level 3 Duolingo when suddenly a message popped up saying my time had expired and I had to log in again. I couldn't do this for some reason and when I finally got in I found that everything had disappeared! This included all the languages I was learning as well as all my achievements. I have tried to contact Duolingo without much success.
Probably, you made a new account instead of logging in on your regular account.

I have the same problem. All my levels of languages, including Level 3 in Italian have gone and all my achievements as well
The same happened to me for my Spanish and French trees. Recently I started working with stories, I thought it might be related to that? Anyhow, I lost interest and stopped my daily duolingo practice.... :-(
