Can't access grammar pages from Android app
I just started the Norwegian course the other day (I'm on the new tree). The Android app doesn't seem to have any of the grammar pages. At first I thought the first few lessons just don't have any, but after a few I figured I'd check the website to make sure, and there I was able to see all of them. Not sure if this is an issue the mods of Norwegian can fix, but I don't have this issue with French or Swedish.
The Tips & Notes are only available on the web version, so you'll have to use the browser on your phone to access them. Nothing we can do about, unfortunately, except for nagging - which hasn't worked thus far.
Weird. How come this is only an issue for some languages? Thanks for the quick response though, I'll check them via the browser then.
Most languages have Tips & Notes that are only available in the web version of Duolingo. You can still access these through your mobile browser, but they won't appear in either of the apps. These have been provided by the contributors to the course in question.
Some of the highly prioritized languages, such as Spanish and French, now have staff-made Tips that are designed to fit a mobile screen. These are the ones with illustrations and dictionary links that are available on both the Android and the iOS apps. They will overwrite the old contributor-made Tips & Notes even in the web version.
If you want to access the old Tips & Notes for a course that now has staff Tips, like French, you can find them here: https://www.duome.eu/tips
