Abundance of parrots!

Really enjoying the new Latin course, but parrots seem to crop up a disproportionate amount of times! They are killed, washed, get drunk, and even taught to read

Indeed! And soon you shall meet the parrot's ally: the clever weasel!

Is that the weasel who is in bed with Corinna?

Livia has four beds, she has enough place for a weasel.

But if the weasels live in Corinna's bedroom, why are they dirty weasels who spend their nights capturing mice?

The parrots make me grin almost every time they show up! :D

Me too, but they do get rather a bad deal I feel. Poor parrots

Huh. I obviously didn't progress far enough yet. I absolutely need to revisit.

Well, the Norwegian Blue Parrot is known for being rather fragile. I would avoid them as pets.

The reference to the drunk parrot is actually a reference to Pliny the Elder's Natural History. In the tenth book, he describes a drunk parrot!
