About the garum: a few years ago a traditional Roman dinner was staged and I was invited. I had to eat also garum, made according the traditional recipe and fermentation. Smelling and tasting were horrible and I understand now why you need a lot of alcohol to go on eating without nausea.

Geez, the tables and the fish are being thrown around in this lesson. What's next, the bones?

God forbid they throw the graves

Would that be something on the order of a "table flip," or?

they found they had too many fish on the table to throw them all, so they threw the table!

The pronunciation is wrong. It should be mēnsās, not mensas with short vowels.

You must be at a low-class bar!
