Is this not "her head is small enough" cukup is enough not really??
I put this as well as I had only learned "cukup=enough". Is the translation wrong then in this context?
I think this translation is incorrect English. 'Rather' small is more acceptable, But the original 'cukup' is the problem - as the english translation of cukup is not 'pretty' or rather, but is enough which does not make sense in English.
According to my dictionary, "cukup" means "enough" and "quite". So, "her head is pretty small" is actually correct.
Here is a sample sentence for "cukup" from my dictionary:
Aku cukup lelah hari ini. / I am quite tired today.
"Her head is rather small" should be accepted too
His head is very small?
His head is small enough to fit into this jar
