Typing in a different language

I have been learning Ukrainian for around 2 months, and I cannot find a way to type using the Ukrainian alphabet. Is there something I'm overlooking?
I have an idea for Duolingo though-- how about a button to click that causes a foreign language alphabet or keyboard to pop up, and we could click on each letter to spell words?

Are you using a PC or something else?

Go into "Control panel" then click "Language". That's the first step. :)

Since you've been studying for a while, I'm going to assume you mean typing on a computer, rather than on a smartphone? If so, your computer has a way you can install other languages. Google will have your back. Once you have that installed, you can use the "on-screen keyboard"/"virtual keyboard" that's usually in accessibility features. That way you can see what the keyboard layout is on your screen.
