"Marcus non Romae, sed Novi Eboraci habitat."

Translation:Marcus does not live in Rome, but in New York.

"Marcus does not live in Rome but New York" is perfectly valid English. I don't understand why it was marked as in correct for not including 'in' before New York.

I think the "i" in "Novi Eboraci" indicates "in New York," just in the same way as the "e" in "Romae" indicates "in Rome". I hope I am right.
