"'Aia ko keoki la hanau o ka la ehia?" Any time I see the "'s" after a name I think of the necessity of using the "Ko" or "Ka". So here I tried "What day is the birthday of Keoki?". Which is wrong. I'm sure I will be wrong on this many more times.

"Which day is the birthday of Keoki?" is also wrong. "Ko Keoki"="Keoki's" right? and "o Keoki" = "of Keoki" right?

So why is "the birthday of keoki is on what day" wrong? (Not that I would say it that way, but it seems correct?)

The location sentence / pepeke henua tells where or when something is.

Poʻo ....................... pico ...................................................ʻawe

Head ..................... center .............................................. tentacles

Aia ................... ka lā hānau o Keoki ..............................ma ka lā ʻehia?

(Stay) ............. the day birth of Keoki ............................on the (number) day which?

= Keoki's birthday is on which day?
