Mine had the dotted line for translation however it translated differently than what the options were to choose from.

Exactly. It said "ia'u" but only accepted "ma'i"

so far the lessons are not offering my learning style enough repetitive practice on basic words. New words are introduced in one lesson section but not interwoven into a new lesson sections for me to reinforce learning . But this is free so I will continue to try and pick up some of the language and it may improve
