Story of my language skills
The more I learn, the more I forget!
The crazy owl is discouraging us.
"kembang" [Indonesian] = "flower" [English]
Presumably, the idea is "blossoming", "flowering", and "flourishing" would employ flower development as a symbol of "progression".
Any reason why "This isn't getting better" would be wrong?
This is no progress
This is not flourish ~ should be correct
That sentence is incorrect in English. You could say: "This is not flourishing." But that would still sound weird and more like some Shakespeare play. I would stick to: This is not progressing.
Thank you, I understand thus!
