Why is "the cow gives us milk" wrong? No where does "yields" show up anywhere in the translations.

produzieren is what I can find for "produce" in german online. Gibt uns is "gives us" gotta love DL.

Isn't "the cow gives milk" and 'the cow produces milk' the same thing? Yet I got that wrong...
