"Would you like red wine?" - Velisne vinum rubrum?

Is "Vinum rubrum velisne" also an option?

Questions in Latin almost invariably start with an interrogative (question) word, unless there is a very good reason not to (in poetry, for example, where the writer was trying to create a particular effect or particular emphasis).

So the "rule" that the verb should generally come at the end is reversed unless you're starting the sentence with something like "Ubi", "Quo" etc. If you're forming the question by adding "ne" to the verb, then it will (nearly always) come at the beginning.

And I'll add "I think..." to all of that. I'm not an expert !
