  • Kōkua au iā Kaleo. I help Kaleo.
  • Ke kōkua nei au iā Kaleo. I am helping Kaleo.

Aloha mai! ʻAʻole, if you look at those examples I wrote down again, you see that “KE ... NEI” shows something that is happening now. Without that, and the action is standing on its own you can see that it means a habitual action.
