ראש השנה ! Happy New Year שנה טובה
Ahhh okay sorry I just didn't understand and I thought maybe that meant me
לישנה טובה! Hope you have an excellent new year, and all the best for the months to come. =)
I really did not put * (asterisk), maybe it will be alone !!! I just put in order to correct a word they didn't write correctly in Hebrew. But leave it just silly and useless this discussion !!! Heh
Don't worry; I think Marco is just using your screen name as an example of how "two asterisks" work. If you take any word and put two asterisks immediately before and two immediately after it, the word will appear in bold characters. For example crocodile becomes crocodile
I think you meant that in לשנה there shouldn't be yud, correct?
How can I get back in touch with my former Hebrew group on duolingo since they introduced the new "league" system? Missing comments like yours .. גבריאלה
I am new to Duolingo, but from what I know, there used to be "clubs" (?). The league system is just a way for people to track their performance - how many XP's they earned each week.
Which new year is it now ? I mean 57.. ?
After a short research on google, 5780 seems to be the good answer.
So happy new year 5780.
The figure 5780 is good enough for this Hebrew forum; if you ask the same question on the Arabic forum, you might find it's 1440 :)
And in my country, as in many others, 2019. There are some other calendars in the world, also.
Here is a link in French for other numerals for the same date : 1/1/2013. But the numerals are the same in English, so understandable for somebody who speaks English :
The link, when clicked, says in nice French "Sorry, the stuff you are looking for, it ain't here" :)
