TRANSLATION / MEANING OF ARABIC WORDS NEEDS WORK
I just finished the Arabic language course. First of all, thank you for adding this language to Duolingo; I've been waiting for a while. Secondly, while the stats say that I have learned several hundred new Arabic words, I don't believe this is true. Through the course, I saw, heard, pronounced many Arabic words and even selected the appropriate transliteration for those words. What I couldn't see through many of the exercises is what those words mean. To improve the course, I ask that the English translation of the words be added to the green bar ("you are correct") area at the bottom of the page in order to teach and reinforce the meaning of the Arabic words. Otherwise, I am very appreciative of your product and intend to use it in the future for both reinforcement of the Arabic language and to learn other languages.
