Anyone have any good french movies?
PG-13 would be awesome! Merci Beaucoup!
I haven't seen it but I did hear about it. Are you sure this one is PG-13 ? The OP clearly asked for PG-13 movies.
I'm not sure if it's PG-13 or not, but it's a good film and I thought I'd suggest it just in case anyone decided they wanted to watch it. Sorry if it isn't PG-13!
Oh! In that case, great! It's been on my to-watch list for a long time.
This is a good one, but the French title was actually : Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulin. So if you want to look for it in French, try the French title ;-).
All PG-13 French movies with a minimum rating of 7.2/10 on IMDB: http://ow.ly/yjaX5 (I had to use a link shortener, the original link didn't work)
You can use http://www.imdb.com/search/title to search for other movies, you can select the date of release, the rating, the country of origin, the language etc.
Here's the list: La Belle et La Bête (1946) [not rated] (I would say PG), Les parapluies de Cherbourg (1964) [not rated] (I would say PG-13), 13 Tzameti (2006) [unrated] (I would say rated R), Jean de Florette (1987) [rated PG] and its sequel, Manon des Sources (1987) [rated PG], Edith Piaf La Vie en Rose the HBO film documentary (2007) [rated PG-13], À la Folie... pas du Tout (2002) [rated PG-13] and The Intouchables (2013) [rated R].
- Les choristes (2004)
- Le dîner de cons (1998)
- Monsieur Lahzar (2011) (this one was the Canadian entry for the best foreign language film oscar on that year)
- La grande séduction (2003) (French Canadian as well)
- Taxi (1998) and its three sequels (warning : Marseilles, southern France, accent)
- Un plan parfait (2012)
- Mambo italiano (2003)
Do you have some themes, or movie genre you enjoy in particular?
