Amicos meis! Velitisne habere colloquium in linguam latinam?
Ego linguam latinam studeo. Linguam Latinam mortuam esse sed volo ut ab ea suescere. Nos convenimus ut linguas discimus. Discere velitisne?
(For the record, I did use google translate some to check grammar and translations.)
So for the title you'd use the vocative plural because you are addressing friends. Amici mei. First sentence studeo I study takes its direct object in the dative. So it should be ego linguae latinae studeo. The first part is direct speech so you either add dicitur it is said that linguam latinam mortuam esse. or you go with direct speech Lingua latina mortua est. The way to say something I want to do something is called a consecutive clause. This course has avoided complicated grammar. But for that you would need to know the subjunctive of verb conjugations and what they used to call the sequence of tenses so depending on the tense of the main verb in this case volo present indicative you would use the appropriate tense of the subjunctive which I think in this case is also present subjunctive and then find a word for ressurect that you liked. Again for nos convenimus you have used the simple present indicative but something like a jussive subjunctive let's meet is better so you'd need to learn the subjunctive voice. Then there is another consecutive clause so using ut on its own doesn't really work. Not all languages have these voices some have others some have more tenses so when translating often its a matter of trying to get a feel of how. So one way is to think of it as one bigger thought in English
I although it is a dead language wanting to ressurect it coming together learning languages study latin. Don't you want to learn. Something like that. Introduce the subject of the thought then allude to it in subordinate clauses and participles and then end with the main verb. The rhetorical question you had at the end though was a popular rhetorical technique. Composition used to be a very advanced skill but these days they encourage people to think in latin and to speak simple sentences so you're on the right path but I don't think that is actually supported here. This place is more for drills.
