3rd bonus skill slot?

Just curious as to what happened to the Christmas bonus skill. I never saw it as I just started using this the other day and saw a post on it. Will it be brought back or will there be a new third skill? I guess post your suggestions bellow.

It was taken away after Christmas. It may or may not be back this year (I also heard something about a Halloween one, but can't remember if that was a suggestion or fact).

I would love any additional ones that deal with french culture. That's one thing I think duolingo needs a bit more of.

As of now, with just language-specific idioms and pick-up lines [oh boy ;)], if they launched a culture specific skill, they would be pressured to release them for the other languages as well. I can hear them now...

What, so now Duolingo doesn't care about Spanish culture?

They didn't mention X and Y in this one. What the heck?

and so forth...

This is true, but in the long run wouldn't that be a good thing? To have all duolingo courses teach more culture about their native speaking countries. I think that would be awesome.

Not saying it would be wrong (I'd vouch for it), just saying that it would probably have to be done for all languages.

Yeah, maybe someday though. Maybe even just the common dialogue be more centered around that cultures life style. Just ideas.
