"My heart is closed" sounds awkward to me in English.

Yes it does, but it is the literal translation. In English, we might use different sentence to express this kind of thought, tho.

What is the difference between 'tertutup' and 'ditutup'? Would 'ditutup' in this sentence translate to "My heart has been closed for you?'

Nope, "ditutup" and "tertutup" just differs in the sense of intentionality. In general, in passive forms "di-" indicates that it's done on purpose, while "ter-" indicates something accidental, or something that's not meant to be, or is done unintentionally.
