Possible improvements to learning format -suggestions

I find it very helpful to cover the words provided for the exercise with my hand and try to translate the provided sentence myself first. Could these be covered by default so that users have to click on a layer to reveal them? Maybe not always, just sometimes?

Also I find the fact that some of those words start with a capital, makes finding the solution easier, not that this is always a bad thing, but for those who want an extra challenge, I think it would help to be able to turn it off or...

Would anyone find it helpful to be able to multi-click the words to cycle through capitalization and perhaps even other punctuation?

For example, a word appears only once in the list of optional words that you can use, you drag it up to the line. As it is the first word in the sentence, you want it capitalized so you tap it once with your finger and the first letter of the word is then capitalized.

Another word is at the end of a sentence, you tap this twice to add a full-stop, etc..

What about macrons? We use accents with other languages.

I don’t suggest penalizing people who don’t do it, but for those like myself with OCD it would be a more satisfying experience.

Just turn off the word bank.

How do you do that on the web version?
Some A/B tests are running it seems about word bank deactivation and other stuff, so we are not equally equipped with that.

I do that also. I add some exercises to the exercises. And it's very efficient to learn even faster than just doing the regular exercises.

For instance, when the exercise is "Write down that you hear in Latin", first, I translate it, and write the translation (very good exercise to translate what you hear, and not what you see written), and then, I delete my translation, and I fill regularly the exercise with the proper answer, i.e, not a translation, but a transcription of the Latin sentence.

For the word bank, as said, you can deactivate it, but it can be made only on Android I think. I didn't find the way on the web.
And really, it's good the first time you work on a lesson, when all the vocabulary is very new, but it's very inefficient to learn after that. It's far better to write the whole sentence than clicking, for an efficient learning session.

Yes, they should remove that. Definitively. But the mods can't do that, it's at the software programming level.

As it is the first word in the sentence, you want it capitalized so you tap it once with your finger and the first letter of the word is then capitalized.(...) Another word is at the end of a sentence, you tap this twice to add a full-stop, etc..

That would be really a lot of programming for a rather unnecessary thing.
Some things bother me more than that.
