I can help explain this to you: Bebe means drink, yes. The 'something else's you are talking about are forms. Bebo is drink when you are talking about yourself. 'Yo bebo.' The same with the other stuff. Bebemos, beben, all that, are just different forms of bebe.

In English and in Spanish there are 6 points of view:

In English

1st Person Singular: I drink
2nd Person Singular: You drink
3rd Person Singular: He/She/It drinks

1st Person Plural: We drink
2nd Person Plural: You (all) drink
3rd Person Plural: They drink

Notice how in English, we add an s to drink for 3rd Person Singular.

Well, Spanish works the same way except there are different conjugations for all points of view:

In Spanish:

1st Person Singular: (Yo) bebo
2nd Person Singular: (Tú) bebes (informal you)
3rd Person Singular: (Él/Ella) bebe (can also be used with Usted - formal you)

1st Person Plural: (Nosotros/Nosotras) bebemos
2nd Person Plural: not used in Latin America
3rd Person Plural: (Ellos/Ella) beben (can also be used with Ustedes - plural you)

These are just the endings for -er verbs in present tense. The infinite beber ends in -er. There are different endings for -ar and -ir verbs that can be found here.

"bebe" means "(he) drinks" and "bebé" (with accent) means "baby" or littlechild.

Beben means "they drink" and even there is a famous Spanish Christmas song with the tittle "Pero mira como beben (los peces en el río)" ("But look how they drink (the fishes in the river)")
