'I can now read 29.2% of French text'
I was doing review of the very first lesson -- I do this everyday, partly for fun, and...well actually all for fun. When I finished it (Yes, I've been making progress on the tree too.), it came up with 'You can now read 29.2% of all real French text'. WOOHOO!
blank = words you don't know.
The blank is blank the blank.
Congratulations! You can now read 50% of this article.
"That blank seems to be blank. I've been blank it since blank (starting at 10.2% of all blank, ha ha). Blank to see you blank it!"
Blank! You can now blank 70% of this blank!
"Blank blank blank blank blank. Blank blank blank blank blank blank% blank blank. Blank!"
I started another post about this. They seem to have dropped the percentages to something that is a little closer to reality, although still not accurate. I went overnight from understanding 95.5% to 81.7% :(
Honestly, I think it is a good idea to make the figures more realistic. It will make more sense to those coming into Duo, albeit that it is a little bit dispiriting for those of us caught up in the changeover, as we watch our knowledge plummeting. ;)
I would check to see if it affects already completed trees...but as you know, I detest reviewing. :) Maybe later, I'll let you know.
That feature seems to be sketchy. I've been getting it since prepositions (starting at 10.2% of all documents, ha ha). Glad to see you have it!
Did another lesson and now I'm on 57%. At this rate I'll be able to read 500% of the articles when nearing the end of the tree!
