Why is 'mau' in the phrase? Doesn't 'mau' mean every or all?

I should have put "near you" in parentheses, but "Those gifts near you" is otherwise close enough. When they gave me another chance I did with with parentheses and Reported that it should be accepted. Next I'll do it their way, just to get out of this lesson. Anyway, it's "(near you)." The gifts could be a long way from anyone eavesdropping on the conversation.
