What is Shiprock I just noticed that this lesson talks a lot about Shiprock and would like to know what it is.

It's a really big rock in New Mexico. I looked it up when I did the Navajo course. It was very interesting. I recommend checking it out.

It’s also one of the cities of the Navajo nation. It’s in New Mexico, west of Farmington.

Shiprock is a very beautiful monument in the state of New Mexico that is considered a sacred place of the Diné. It is tall, and can be seen for many, many miles as it rises from a relatively flat surrounding area.

Shiprock is also a large town that is an important hub for the Navajo people. I'm pretty sure the course is speaking of the town, and that the monument has another name in Navajo.

Shiprock, en navajo Tsé Bit'a'í signifiant en français « rocher ailé » :-)

Et dans la leçon, on parle bien de la ville : Naat'áaniinééz
