Verbs that express states of being use “me” in the present tense. Example: nimefurahi: I am happy VS Ninafurahi: I am BECOMING happy.

So anakasirika=he is becoming angry, while amekasirika=he is angry(literally implying he has finished BECOMING angry, meaning he is currently angry).
