Why have I seen 2 spellings of this word? 'Balach' and 'balaich'?
balaich is the Genitive form of the word. We'll get to that later.
"am càr aig balach" lit. the car at the boy (the boy's car)
"am càr balaich" the car of the boy (the boy's car)
I'm excited to start learning scottish gaelic!
I'm the same.
Google saying verified Buachaill as boy, could someone explain ?
In Irish, maybe?
I translated this as "a boy" and was told it was wrong. :/
