"I do not see men, but women instead."
We never use "em vez de" on the end of a sentence. "Ao invés" seems a nice alternative.
Furthermore this should accept the answer "Eu não vejo homens, mas sim mulheres" or something similar. The correction is too weird.
I totally think that this English sentence can also be "see" as in with my eyes. Looking out on the beach I do not see men, but women instead.
"em vez de" dont work at the end of a sentence. "Ao invés" would fit better, but not used too...
Wouldn't: "Eu não vou com homens" mean I don't go with men. Why couldn't both that one and the solution they gave be right?
That well confused me. I imagined "see" as in vision rather than "go out with" or "date"!
