In front of a groaning dining-room table on Lewis, waiting for the family to arrive for Sunday lunch:

Mam says: 'It's hama-time!'

Bairns: 'Whaddya mean, Mam?'

wait for it -

Mam: 'YE CANNAE TOUCH THIS!!!'

All: Oh my Lord...

Is there a different word for "bacon"?

Why is 'This is a ham' was labeled as incorrect? Only difference was the 'a'

That should be accepted -- report it.

Why is "this ham" wrong? It let me do "this soup" for seo brot.

If it accepted this soup for seo brot then that is a mistake. 'This soup' would be am brot seo. 'This ham' would be an hama seo.
