Does "slàinte" mean cheers as in "thanks" or is it what you'd say with drinks?

What you'd say with drinks. 'Thanks' would be 'taing' :)

I clicked the correct word (Slàinte), but it says it is the wrong one, then it says I should have picked slàinte, lol
