The apostrophe in the Gaelic sentence structure is an important part and should be included as part of the building blocks for the construction of the sentence.

Agreed. But there are lots of technical challenges in Duolingo as it is difficult (due to bad design, presumably) to make it compatible with the ways orthography works in different languages. In Welsh, for example, they have got the suffix 'r but Duolingo reads it out actually using the Welsh word for apostrophe, which confuses everyone.

The course writers do their best and spend a lot of time trying to make it work.
