In Scotland we do not use the word "pants" we use the word trousers. Pants = underpants in understanding over here.
What we understand by "pants" is DRATHAIS. BRIOGAIS are what we call TROUSERS.
And of course BREEKS in Scots
How many time does Iain have to be told?
In Scots, the word for pants is BREEKS....briogais
The way I am remembering the gaelic briogais, is what my granny from Scotland would say "britches" for pants, trousers, you name it " Go and get your britches on!"
